Cooking and Cards

The things I remember the most about Grandma is all the cooking and baking we did, along with playing cards and games.  Had fun icing Christmas cookies, along with the decorations that maybe made it on them.  I also remember making dumplings with her.  We would have the whole kitchen table covered with flour.  She had the best mixed vegetables and dill pickles.  My "greatest accomplishment" with her, is I FINALLY figured out how to make her "red" noodles.  It took me years to get it right.  She never had a measurement for ingrediants, just pour some in and keep tasting until it tasted good.  Any time I came home to visit Mom and Dad, I would make Grandma come over and play cards or dominoes.  She will truely be missed.
