The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nellie Ochoa Guerra can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Mom

When I was in jr. high, Och (formerly known as Junior) was my best friend and I think I spent more time at his house than I did at my own. Nellie was so warm and loving to me that I called her "Mom".

I was friends with the entire family and had a big crush on Josie.

I remember one time when Nellie made flour tortillas and offered me one; I didn't like it and made up an excuse to leave so I could throw it away. This was before I had an affinity for Mexican food, and now it's one of my favorites: there's no such thing as too many tortillas.

Och and Josie, I am so sorry for your loss. I know the entire family will miss her dearly as will I
