David Martin Mauthe
David Martin Mauthe, age 75, of Chappell, NE entered into rest Friday March 9, 2018 at the University of Colorado Health in Aurora, CO.
Cremation has been held and no formal funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to the Dorwart Cancer Center in Sidney or Pet Rescue in Chappell. Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of David’s care and funeral arrangements.
David was born to Herman Carl Mauthe and Alice (Funkhouser) Mauthe on July 11, 1942 in
Glendale, CA. He graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California and completed several graduate level courses in Water Resources from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He served in the Coast and Geodetic Service, Environmental Science Services Administration, as an Ensign. He was licensed in several states as a Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor, his lifelong occupation.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father and daughter, Karen. He is
survived by his wife Janet and son Michael.
