Max M.  Henkle
Max Melvin Henkle was born on March 2nd, 1932 in Hedric, Iowa. He was 1 out of 13 children. Max graduated from Hedric High School class of 1950, and then went on to join the Marines and served for 3 years in the Korean War, where he received the Korean Service Medal with 2 stars, United Nations Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He spent the majority of his life as a driller for the oil rigs. Max loved to garden, cook, his dog Ginger and to tease his grandchildren.
Family is asking that any monetary donations be given to Bessie Kozinski, granddaughter and executor of will.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Henkle, (3) daughters: Tamera Peters and husband Ken of California, Leslie Sams of Wyoming, Connie Wagner and husband Bill of Wyoming, (1) son: Timothy Henkle and wife Virginia of Nebraska, (1) sister: Lettiejune Jones of California, (8) grandchildren, and (10) great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Cecil Henkle, (11) siblings, (1) son: Landal Max Henkle.
