The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Opal Thorpe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Opal and Erie remain always in my heart and memory. They along with her mother in law,maude (who incidentally wound up delivering my brother in 24E at SAD) were unmeasurable friends to our family. Due to work i will not be there today in body but definitely there in heart and soirit. And yes i loved those,apple pies. And my mom used to revel in her me mories of their days oj the farm. May she rest in peace with Erie and we as friends and family appreciate God blessings of having her touched our luves
