Condolence From: Charlotte Dorwart
Condolence: The 19th Hole in heaven must be lively now that the foursome of Dean Wilson, Bob Conrad, CB Dorwart, and Tom O'Connell are all together. They loved their golf and had great stories to tell before, during and after a game. Now they are all together again and lying to each other about how great each one personally is as a golfer. May their putts be straight and all their games under par.

Condolence: May God be with you in this time. Your dad was always a great guy. When my dad was in the nursing home we would visit and he would be there eating his soup. He will be in a much greater place and will be at peace. God Bless all of You.

Condolence: Mr. O'Connell (he was never anything but that to us) was my first Little League coach. I was possibly the least skilled baseball player ever, but he always showed the greatest patience and kindness with me. I never amounted to much as a baseball player, but I like to think that his kindness played some role in making me a better person. His legacy spreads far across the world.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with the entire O'Connell family. I have wonderful memories of Tom beginning my first year of teaching in Sidney in 1964. Living right across the street, I got to know him well. I cherish the great times we had those few years I lived there. He was a true friend whom I will always miss. One quick story. We used to set up beer bottles on the kitchen table and discuss defenses and rebounding in basketball - two rebounders versus three, blocking out, outlet passes, defenses, etc. It still brings a smile to my face and always will. Condolence: Sorry for your loss, you all are in my prayers. Remembering Tom as a great supporter of Sidney athletics and I had a lot of fun playing cards with him at SRMC, he would bring his suckers and hand them out to all players so we had them instead of cigars to give us that outlaw look. He will be missed by all who knew him. God bless you all.
