Mildred Leola ‘Mim’ Yeager, the daughter of Nels and Marna (Johnson) Hoagland, was born on July 1, 1917 at the Hoagland Farm north of Lodgepole, NE. The family moved to Denver, CO where she graduated from South High School. Mim worked at the large Montgomery Ward Store there as well as at various other jobs before she was united in marriage to Malcolm Keith Yeager on May 9, 1937 at Denver. They lived in Denver where they began raising their family. Following a move to Indiana around 1943, they moved back home and lived on the Johnson farm north of Sunol and finally settled on the Hoagland farm. Upon their retirement Mim and Malcolm moved into Sunol.
Mim was a life-long member of the Church of Christ, was an Extension Club Member, enjoyed sewing and was actively involved in the farming activities while on the farm.
Survivors include: (1) son: Cliff Yeager and wife Shirley of Soddy Daisy, TN; (2) daughters: Carole Brinkhoff and husband Gary of Longmont, CO and Donna Koehn and husband Bernie of Sidney; (2) sisters-in-law: Barbara Hoagland of Wittier, CA and Margaret Hoagland of Littleton, CO; (7) grandchildren: Kristal Willoughby and husband Mike of Celina, TX, Lanita Willeke and husband Dan of Wellington, CO, Gina Clifford of Parker, CO, Chad Brinkhoff and wife Angeles of Longmont, Melissa Nyman and husband Jerry of Laramie, WY, Kelly Jean Yeager of Signal Mountain, TN and Darrell Koehn and wife Kelly of Sidney; (14) great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
Mim was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Malcolm in 2003, infant twin sons, (3) brothers: Earl, Chet and Don, (1) sister: Emma and (1) grandson: Christopher Yeager.
