Jeanette Marie Namuth

Jeanette Marie Namuth, age 77 of Ft. Collins, CO and longtime Lodgepole, NE resident, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Ft. Collins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, November 30th with a Rosary Service at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, November 29th. Both services will be in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sidney with Father Mike McDermott officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Thursday from 1-4:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made in Jeanette’s name to the Cheyenne County Community Center Youth Activities Club, 627 Toledo Street, Sidney, NE 69162. Jeanette Marie Namuth, the daughter of William H. and Dorothy K. (Treinen) Raddatz, was born on November 3, 1941 in Sidney, NE. Jeanette graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Sidney with the Class of 1959. She then attended Hollywood Beauty School in Denver, CO. In June of 1960, she returned to Sidney, working for Helen’s Beauty Salon for a few years. She continued operating her salon business from home until four years ago.
On November 19, 1961 Jeanette was united in marriage to Rodney Eugene Namuth. They lived in Sidney and moved south of Lodgepole in 1963 and lived there for 39 years. Rodney passed away on July 5, 2001. Later in 2001, Jeanette moved to Ft. Collins, CO where she met her long-time companion Ralph Schledewitz in 2003.
Jeanette was a member of the Lodgepole Homemakers Club for 20 years and a member of Xi Alpha Tau Sorority for 50 years and was Exemplar of Beta Sigma Phi. She belonged to the Elks Lodge in Ft. Collins and served on the board for two years. She was very active and loved to sew making many toys and clothes for family and friends.
Jeanette is survived by (2) sons: Michael Namuth and wife Lynn of Sidney, and Bruce and Gerri Namuth of Fort Calhoun; (2) daughters: Nancy Namuth of Ft. Collins, and Susan Namuth of Austin, TX; (10) grandchildren: Brandi, Greg, Cole, McKenna, Brianna, August, Ben, Elizabeth, Regina and Andrew; (3) great-grandchildren; (3) sisters: Kathy Gilpin and husband Doug, Mary Morgan, Rita Johansen and husband Gary; and her long-time companion Ralph Schledewitz of Ft. Collins.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband: Rodney, her parents: (1) brother-in-law: Dennis Morgan and (1) grandson: Gabriel Namuth.
