My sincere sympathy to Dorothy's family. I knew Dorothy because of her husband's involvement in Cheyenne County's economic development group. High Plains Development was pursuing a wheat processing plant and Ray and Dorothy were both involved with helping to fund the venture, cheering for the success of the venture, sharing in many different ways. Somehow people like Ray and Dorothy should live forever. They certainly will in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved them.

We are very sorry that we will be unable to get to Dorothy's funeral. We considered her and Ray as our major friends. The visit she made to us in Manila was a high light in the years we lived in Asia. We will miss her greatly and extend our most sincere sympathy to all the Davis family. The accomplishments Dorthy had in her life were many and most memorable.

I am sorry I can't come to the funeral Saturday. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
