Peggy J. Maddox

Peggy J. Maddox, 80 of Sidney, Nebraska passed away on July 24, 2018 in her home.
Funeral services will be held in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Dave Hall officiating. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 -5 P.M. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel in Sidney, Nebraska. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made in Peggy’s name to the Maddox Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Sidney High School. Peggy J. Maddox was born in Rogers, New Mexico on November 28, 1937 to J.D. and Grace (Parks) Watson. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1956. On December 17, 1970, she was united in marriage to Bill L. Maddox of Sidney, Nebraska where she resided until she passed away.
Peggy was legal secretary for Attorney John Peetz, until she became the accountant and office manager at Maddox Motor Company. After retiring from Maddox Motor Company, her primary life was being with her grandchildren and attending their sporting and school events.
She is survived by her husband Bill Maddox, daughters Kim Bruns, Kellye Hazlett, son Craig Maddox and wife Shea, grandchildren, Kellie Egging, Alec Maddox, Paige Maddox, Treager Maddox, twins Cain and Amelia Maddox, brother Michael Watson of Sidney, Nebraska and sister Ann Satterwhite of College Station, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Jamie Maddox.
