The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeffery Turner can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Jeffery Lenn Turner It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jeffery Lenn Turner, known to friends as "Spot", passed away July 2nd, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 48. Jeff was born in Saint Louis, Missouri to Donald turner and Linda (Adams) Turner on August 29th, 1969. In 1971 they moved to Nebraska where they made a permanent home. Jeff attended Potter-Dix schools where he eventually graduated high school in 1987. Jeff took pride beginning his career as a machinist in and around Truman, Arkansas. He eventually turned back to his home roots in the Sidney and Kimball areas in Nebraska where he worked for the City of Kimball, NE. Jeff took pride in his community as a member of the City of Kimball Volunteer Fire Department. Jeff enjoyed playing pool and was a very talented member of the American Pool Association placing in numerous tournaments. Jeff will be lovingly remembered by his children Seth Turner, Trissa (Matt) Webb, Katelenn (Ethan), Joplin, Cathy (Craig) Collins, and Daylan Turner; siblings Donald (Lyn) Turner, David (Elaine) Turner, Tammy (John) Flora, and Travis (Jessica); mother Linda (Adams) Turner; 3 grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Jeff is preceded in death by his father Donald C. Turner, his best friend/cousin Jackie Harmon, cousin Raymond Heuck as well as many aunts and uncles and his grandparents. Memorial Services will be held July 12th, 20199 at The First Baptist Church in Sidney, NE with Pastor Curtis Davis officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Dix, Nebraska cemetery. Arrangements made by Gehrig-Stitt funeral home.
