Ronald G. Adams

Ronald G. Adams, age 66 of Peetz, CO, entered eternal life at Sterling Regional Medical Center January 16, 2018.
Cremation has taken place per Ron’s wishes. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on February 10, 2018, at the Hot Spot in Peetz, CO. Memorials may be made in care of the family for future designation and sent to P.O. Box 23, Peetz, CO 80747. Gehrig-Stitt Chapel is in charge of Ron’s care and funeral arrangements.
Ron was born December 15, 1951, in Sidney, NE to Roger & Arlene (Struve) Adams. He grew up on the family farm north of Peetz. He attended Peetz School where he was active in FFA and sports during high school. After school he stayed in Peetz working on the family farm and supporting the community. In August 1974 Ron married Carolyn (Phelps), and they had two children, Desirae Adams of Littleton, CO and Devron Adams of Broken Bow, NE. Ron married Cheryl (Ryder) in July 2000 and they continued making their home in Peetz.
Ron enjoyed watching and attending sporting events, especially Broncos and Rockies games, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Ron is survived by his wife Sheri of Peetz, CO; his daughter Desirae and son Devron, step-daughter Melissa (John) McFarlin of Sidney; grandchildren Jayce McFarlin and Kaylan Adams-Trusty; brothers Gerald (Corine) Wooldridge of Anchorage, AK and Larry Wooldridge of Peetz, CO; sisters Pat (Mark) Griese and Bev Dowis, both of Sterling; aunts Margie Stephan of Ft Scott, KS, Dee Steinbrecher of Scottsbluff, NE, and Lois Struve of Bonanza, OR, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Edna Adams and Hans and Anna Struve; parents Roger and Arlene Adams; uncles Wayne (Gladys) Adams, Art Struve, and Harold Struve; Aunt Geraldine Barber; Brother Leroy Wooldridge; and niece Pam Barnhart.
