Grammy

I never did write her a letter or sit and tell her how important she really was, So family and friends I am sharing my story as a letter to her.. Grammy, I just wanted to share how blessed I was to have you as my Great Grandma... I was blessed to be born into your family and have you at my side my entire life. I know that when things got crazy and seemed to be falling apart that I could always come to you and find comfort and when I thought things where rough and wondered how much more could a person take or how much more could this world change? I would just stop and think of everything that you have done and been through in your very long life... being 102 is an age that only people can dream of reaching, but you my love did just that. I'm so glad that you had the strength to make it this far as it gave me many years and memories of you being here with us and also a chance for all of my children to know you and for Ki to be blessed and share your middle name. Grammy you will be missed more than I can express, but until I get to hold your loving hand again I you wish far well. Love you Grammy... Love Kecla... P.S. Family how many of you can say you remember these yummy things from grandmas kitchen; cracker jack cookies, fried chicken, pecan pie, cheese carrots, roasting ear, red sausage, oatmeal, and when time was crunched a Pizza only to be said as it is spelled. There was no better meal than one ate at in the light mint green kitchen with the brown appliances, every meal was blessed and God was thanked before the 1st bite was ever ate...O' the memories I have and the conversations that took place in that kitchen I will never forget and although this is about grandma I will never forget grandpa saying "sis keep those hands of the walls". So happy they are reunited...
