LISA R. WHEELOCK

Lisa R. Wheelock, age 51 of Potter, NE passed away at her home, Thursday, December 22, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Christian Life Center in Sidney with Pastor Pete Morgan officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Potter Cemetery. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Friday to sign Lisa’s register book and drop off condolences for the family. Lisa Rae Wheelock, the daughter of Edward John and Sharon Christine (Lipska) Wieger, was born on February 28, 1965 at Casper, WY. The family moved to Gillette, WY and then to Platteville, CO where she attended school. They moved to Potter in 1980. On July 6, 1985, Lisa was united in marriage to Tim Wheelock in Sidney. Lisa worked as a CNA and Med aid at Sidney Regional Medical Center, Miller Memorial Nursing Home and the Kimball Manor.
Lisa was active in her communities, serving on the Potter Fire and Rescue, serving as a Rescue Captain and wherever she was needed. Her family remained her most important devotion and was always willing to have her house filled with family.
Survivors include her children: Timothy J. Wheelock, Katilia Wheelock, Natoria Wheelock, Sierra Wheelock, and Damian Wheelock; (3) grandchildren: Jimadya Lee Wheelock, Jayden Wheelock and Braxton Porter all of Potter; (1) brother: Todd Wieger of Brooksville, FL and numerous extended family members and friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Tim; (1) brother: Rick Wieger and (1) grandson: Brayten.
