ROSEMARY FAREL
Rosemary Farel, age 67 of Chappell, NE passed away at Sidney Regional Medical Center, Friday evening, January 22, 2016.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 28th in the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel in Sidney with Father Matthew Koperski of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chappell officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Wednesday to sign Rosemary’s register book and drop off condolences for the family.

Rosemary Farel, the daughter of Pius and Genevieve Ida (Melvin) Fischer, was born on May 15, 1948 at Rapid City, SD. Rosemary enjoyed painting, music and archery. She was a pet lover and she and husband George participated in Animal Rescue transports while she worked for the Valentine Police Department.
Survivors include her children: Jonna Straight and significant other Jeff, James Napier and wife Ivia and Mike Farel and wife Valleri; (7) grandchildren, (7) great-grandchildren; her siblings: Elroy “Roy” Fischer and wife Wanda, Ronnie Fischer and wife Lori, Nancy Waugh and husband Ted and Joanne McDaniels and numerous extended family members and friends.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and husband: George Ronald Farel.
