Dolores L. Williams, age 92 of Sidney, NE passed away at the Golden Living Center in Sidney on Saturday, October 10, 2015.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, October 15th in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Jim Heithoff officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. There will be no wake services. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Wednesday from 1-7:00 P.M. to sign Dolores’ register book and drop off condolences for the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Dolores’ name to the church. You may view Dolores’ Book of Memories, leave condolences and share photos and stories at www.gehrigstittchapel.com.
Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of Dolores’ care and funeral arrangements.
Dolores Louise Williams was born Dolores Stormberg April 14, 1923 in Potter, NE. She was the fourth of eight children born to Herbert and Marie (Colling) Stormberg. She married DeVer Williams in 1943. Dolores worked for more than forty years at the Janda-Tobin and later the Wilson-Tobin Drug Store.
Dolores was a lifelong parishioner of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church where she served and worshipped. She was an independent spirit with deep family roots.
She is survived and loved by her daughter Sandra Pfau and husband Terry of Hailey, ID; (4) grandchildren: Anthony, Michael and Tasha Pfau and Tanya Olson all of Hailey, ID; (7) great-grandchildren; her sisters: Viola Sterling and Maxine Wilt and (1) brother: Dr. Donald Stormberg and numerous extended family members and friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and (4) siblings: Dorothy Connelly, Ray Stormberg, LeRoy Stormberg and Dr. Eugene Stormberg.
