Cynthia J. "Cindi"  Perry
CINDI PERRY

Cindi Perry age 65 of Sidney, NE passed away at Golden Living Center Friday, November 1, 2013.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Nov. 6th in the Sidney Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Doug Birky officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Tuesday from 1-7:00 P.M.

Cynthia Jane Perry, the daughter of Eugene and Donna Jane (Reigert) Lingenfelder, was born on March 4, 1948 in Lincoln, NE while her parents were living in Columbus, NE. Following a move to Lincoln with her family, she attended Lincoln Schools and traveled with the Back To The Bible Youth Choir and graduated from Lincoln S.E. High School. She attended Taylor University at Upland, IN as a Music Major. She returned home to work at her parent’s Drive Inn and met George Perry. On May 25, 1968 Cindi and George were united in marriage at the Evangelical Free Church in Lincoln. Cindi home schooled her two boys and was the church secretary at Indian Hills Community Church before their move to Sidney in 1986. George and Cindi then purchased the Sidney Motor Lodge and later the Days Inn Motel.
Cindi was very active in her church and will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and one who loved to spoil her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband George of Sidney; (2) sons: Matt and wife Katie of Sidney and Micah also of Sidney; (6) grandchildren: Kayce, Emma, Connor, Olivia, Delaney and Colvin all of Sidney; (2) sisters: Cheryl Dierenfeld and husband Dave of Nicollet, MN and Connie Majorins and husband Andy of Lisbon, IA; (1) brother: Gregg Lingenfelder and wife Sally of Lincoln (2) brothers-in-law: John Perry and wife Joan of Willoughby, OH and Bob Perry of Dublin, CA; (1) sister-in-law: Nita Rickard and husband James of Santa Clara, CA; special family members: Ruth Jean Schulze of Falls City, NE, Sue Harmon and husband Galen of Falls City, Sandy Hansen and husband Eldon of St. Louis, MO, Mickey Carmichael and husband Jim of Longmont, CO, Linda Santo of Falls City, NE and numerous extended family members and friends.
Cindi was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law: Helen Perry.
